We are seeking a full-time Office Staff Associate who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to supporting the smooth operations of our advocacy work. The successful candidate will excel in organizational management and provide vital support to lawyers and staff in advancing Community Legal Help and Public Interest Centre’s (C-HELP) mission.
Job Description
- Maintain and improve electronic and physical case files and implement a case file management system for C-HELP cases.
- Manage the office’s physical inventory and ensure that supplies are requested and replenished as needed.
- You will receive and log all incoming and outgoing mail to keep accurate records of correspondence.
- You will oversee the office calendar by scheduling internal meetings, client case conferences, hearings, and other important activities.
- You will assist lawyers by printing, photocopying, annexing, mailing, and filing pleadings or other relevant documents.
- You will prepare logistics and expense requirements for hearings, meetings, travels, consultations, and conferences.
- You will prepare liquidation and financial reports to support accountability and transparency in operations.
- You will carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holder.
- With strong organizational skills and a problem-solving attitude.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess a keen attention to detail.
